The original text reads: “The heavenly way operates without stagnation, thus all things flourish; the imperial way operates without stagnation, thus the world submits; the sage‑king way operates without stagnation, thus all within the seas pay allegiance.” It implies that the sage‑king way differs from the heavenly way and the imperial way; it is the path forged by sages through tempering and refinement.
In addition, the second memorial requesting the imperial title submitted by Bai Juyi, contained in Volume 666, Part 7 of Complete Tang Prose, states: “The jade‑colored candles are in harmonious order, ushering in a millennium‑long sage‑blessed era.”
Since its establishment, Beijing Shengyun Law Firm has focused on administrative law and land law.
